Dana Calhoun and team pub was released on the cosmopolitan parasite, Clinostomum, that infects fishes, amphibians, reptiles and snails as intermediate hosts. To better understand patterns of infection among host species of both fishes and amphibians and across life stages they used large-scale field surveys , molecular tools and experimental exposures. Infection was rare however both fish and frogs were infected with the same species of Clinostomum! Read on to find out which species and how big metacercariae grow in size over twenty days.
