I am currently approaching my 4th and final year of undergraduate at University of Colorado Boulder. I am majoring in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology with a minor in Dance. For as long as I can remember I have always been fascinated by the water and all that lives in it. Due to this fascination I have taken extensive aquatic and marine biology classes throughout my schooling, including a CU Baker RAP class my freshman year in which I conducted an independent biodiversity survey of marine fish in the Florida Keys. This summer I will be furthering my fascination with the Johnson Lab! I will be completing UROP and REU projects in which I will investigate phytoplankton community composition between the inlet and outlet of Green Lake Four in Green Lakes Valley; I am particularly interested in looking at my data in the context of interconnectedness and climate change. In my free time I enjoy rock climbing, yoga, and painting.
