Summer of 2018 will be my fourth working on the Necropsy Team here in the Johnson Laboratory! I graduated from Auburn University (War Eagle!) in 2014 with a Bachelor's degree in marine biology and my main interests revolve around parasites and marine life. I am most intrigued by the behavioral and morphological influences parasites can have on their hosts. For the rest of the year I work in Chelsea Wood's laboratory at the University of Washington which focuses on parasite ecology in marine animals.
When I’m not in a lab, I enjoy getting together with friends, going to concerts, and checking out different parts of the country on roadtrips. I also love being on the water and jump at any chance to be on a boat!
